ok so there is as much chance of this actually happening than me riding a unicorn to work tomorrow morning but hey, don't get anythign if you don't ask
who here would like a 'templar' scout added to our collection now all the suits are out? to be fair the 'Dren' collection is a full set of the 4 types so it'd be nice for the 'Templar' set to have it too so lets give it a try

in the long run it'd be cool to have some form of manufacturing from the bpos as the capsuleers do

what ccp mean is its not good for their economy cos folk don't buy the sh**ty AUR suits/weapons when they run out of isk like they hoped and sales of the recent packs haven't been anywhere near as popular as the merc packs. if we had oppertunity to buy BPOs for AUR and manufacture from them it'd certainly help the economy just as EVE's player market works so well BPOs can't be bad for DUSTs economy because it doens't have one, no one makes a profit or loss on the market. everythign is NPC based currently. the reason peopel want BPOs so badly, AFK in MCC or biomass should be a clear indication to CCP that ISK payouts arn't enough, hell start sellign a 30day ISK booster for AUR which doubles isk payout of battles and they'd probs make more money too

Lylith Groff wrote:I hoped for the same thing this morning as I glanced at my collector's edition... but then again people might start asking for every suit type in "Templar" style.
well it just rounds off the set of base suits for the templar series that was all plus we got the drop uplink so it'd fit. having a 'templar' commando woul drock but just the 4 base classes would be great.
and again how do BPO break the economy? there isn't an economy to break yet. all items are infinite because they're supplied by NPC even when player market opens up all base items will still be NPC because mercs cannot build them yet the only thing that will be an economy will be selling officer weapons and if allowed BPOsso in the long run BPOs will help the economy as people with multiple BPOs will sell them for isk in order to buy proto suits from the market. CCP just don't want BPOs in becuase peopel refuse to pay AUR for disosable suits when the game is as broken as it is. why shoudl we lose money when 'smart spawn' drops us repeatedly in the middle of red dots? or a tank is spammign the hell out of us? players don't mind buying boosters for AUR, they benefit us as did BPOs so the suits are basic level frames but you can still use them. different racial sets of BPOs now would greatly increase market purchases.
$100 packs like the vet pack with 2 active and 2 passive boosters plus and a sentinel, scout, logi and assault BPO suits
State Protectorate plus a state protectorate Rail Rifle and Magsec SMG and Swarm Launcher and Sniper Rifle Black Eagle set with AR, Shottie, Ion pistol and Plasma cannon Imperial Kameiras set Laser Rifle, Scram Rifle, Scrambler pistol, drop uplink Republic Command set Combat Rifle, SMG, Mass Driver, Flaylock
people would be more inclined to buy them for $100 than a pack of AUR suits and weapons for $20
